Our trip map shows the 21 states we were in. We drove a total of 8756 miles. We were on the road 72 days and used our home on wheels 71 nights. Of those, 34 nights were free and on 37 nights we had to pay. Of the nights we payed, 3 were in commercial RV parks and 34 were in City, State, or National camp grounds. Of the free nights, 19 were with family members either in their driveways or on the street in front of their homes. The other free nights were spent in parking lots of various sorts. The most unusual being the parking lot by Harry S. Truman's farm house.
Now that we are home it seems that our days are filled with activities that don't leave much time for posting a blog. Let's see how it goes and I'll keep you posted. Meanwhile, if you care to go to the trouble you could bring up "Google Chrome" and look at the postings there. Maybe they will make sense then. Again, my apologies.

Hello, I've been researching my Dopp family forebears (my great grandmother was a Dopp, the daughter of George Worthington Dopp. She was born Madison, WI March 7, 1871; I believe she attended a Wisconsin Dopp reunion in the 1950s. Do you know if that reunion is still ongoing or know of contacts for it, please? You can email me at meschaefer1@gmail.com. Hope to hear from you...have a great summer! Mary Schaefer
