First of all, I have to apologize to anyone reading my previous blogs using anything other than "Google Chrome" as an internet browzer. To my extreme disappointment, today, I looked at the blog using "Microsoft Internet Explorer" and discovered that my pictures and text are totally misaligned when viewed in anything other than "Google Chrome" Unfortunately, I had spent hours uploading pictures and editing text so that when I reviewed my posting, everything was aligned the way I thought it should be. Oh well, live and learn. Perhaps others have experienced this problem and if so, I'd like to hear about it.
Our life at home is slowly getting back to normal. We have had several rainy days, but the rain is intermittant, so when we can we get out and do the gardening that needs to be done.
Our trip map shows the 21 states we were in. We drove a total of 8756 miles. We were on the road 72 days and used our home on wheels 71 nights. Of those, 34 nights were free and on 37 nights we had to pay. Of the nights we payed, 3 were in commercial RV parks and 34 were in City, State, or National camp grounds. Of the free nights, 19 were with family members either in their driveways or on the street in front of their homes. The other free nights were spent in parking lots of various sorts. The most unusual being the parking lot by Harry S. Truman's farm house.
Now that we are home it seems that our days are filled with activities that don't leave much time for posting a blog. Let's see how it goes and I'll keep you posted. Meanwhile, if you care to go to the trouble you could bring up "Google Chrome" and look at the postings there. Maybe they will make sense then. Again, my apologies.
