Saturday was the third in our Community Garden Association's series of "Seed To Table" classes. Marlene taught the first two which were held at the Canby library. For this class we invited a Master Gardener from Washington County to teach a class on growing potatoes and tomatoes. We set up our temporary, very nice 20' by 10', metal and vinyl structure, brought in our folding chairs, and the class began with 11 attendees from our Canby area. Our garden association got a grant this year of about $7,600 to coordinate and teach these classes. So far they have been very successful.
