We have been enjoying the Atlantic Coast. This time we ended up at Myrtle Beach, SC. It's different here than most places we have been. There is a densely developed section of the coast adjacent to a wooded and beautiful State Park. The developed part reminded us of Miami Beach. You couldn't see the ocean from the street. The view was blocked by high rise hotels and apartments. There were only a couple of public access points.
Where we were, you could walk the beach for miles. The campsites were quite large and water and electricity were provided for $30 a night.
